Black Rainbow Beaded Jewelry Set
This set began with the bracelet and really with me finding these GemDuo beads in the Backlit Vapor color. I thought they were gorgeous – I love anything iridescent, color-shifting, multichrome, etc. I paired them with black seed beads with Purple Iris accent, and some bicones and rondelles I had that matched perfectly. And I think this pattern showcases them perfectly without being overwhelming. It’s a gorgeous piece and I want to make the pattern again in different colors!
Stitched with Czech GemDuo beads, size 11 Miyuki seed beads, 4mm bicones and 3mm rondelles, Fireline in Smoke.

I found this glass prism pendant that is basically a giant Rivoli with the pointed back. I glued felt to the back and stitched around it with black Delica beads. I then glued black leather to the back on top of the felt and stitched the border of seed beads, bicones, and rondelles with some dagger beads dangling at the bottom.
For the necklace part, I took the bracelet pattern from the matching bracelet and sort of inverted it – I think it makes a good necklace or it could even be a bracelet. I am not sure if this pattern exists anywhere else – I just came up with it playing with my beads.
Stitched with Czech glass GemDuo beads, size 11 Miyuki Delicas and seed beads, various size rondelles and bicones, dagger beads and a glass prism pendant that is encased in beads with a leather backing.

Of course, I had to make earrings to complete the set with the necklace and bracelet!
These came about from playing around with the beads and seeing what happened – these GemDuos are great for tiling and I can envision taking this motif further. These earrings are on the heavy side but I love how the fringe feels!
Stitched with Czech GemDuo beads, size 11 Miyuki seed beads, rainbow/oil slick bicones and rondelles, Fireline in Smoke.
