“Red Queen” Earrings

I might not be royalty, but maybe I can pretend? I found this pattern on beadsmagic.com and decided to make a pair of red and gold earrings. I already had all these beads in my stash for years so they were all unlabeled - I am 95% sure the dark red(garnet) bicones are Swarovski from the mid-2000s. Now that I am more serious about beading I am better about keeping the labels on my beads, especially since finding out about color numbers!

These are made using netting stitch and fringe – I did a modified fringe from what the pattern shows but I really like how these earrings swing and they make little clinking noises when you move your head :-)

Stitched with size 11/0 Czech seed beads in two reds (not sure of color name), possibly Swarovski 4mm bicones in garnet, 4mm bicones in red, glass drop crystals in two reds unknown brand.
